Word Perfect, Microsoft Word, Adobe, or others I might not be aware of. What is the best word processor to use? I have poor spelling and grammar. But also want something that will create file that pretty much anyone can open.

The best word processor is the one that you get on with best.

Having said that the industry standard is Microsoft Word - but not the latest version! You want the 2003 version - or get the latest version and make sure you save everything in 2003 compatibility mode.

Or get a copy of Microsoft works - which includes a cut down version of word - and most people should be able to open a document created with that.

Hope that helps

Yes it does. That's kind of what I thought just because Word seems to be more commonly used. The word "Best" In my OP referred to what would be the most helpful for someone who is lacking in grammar skills.

Word does have a built in grammar checker - But you don't need perfect grammar skills for copywriting - you need to be understandable.
