Perusing business and freelance boards, I am rather shocked at how low writers will go to get keyword article jobs. I've seen people bidding $1.00 per article! blink.gif Do you guys think the sheer number of people who are willing to write for so little make it impossible for 'real' copywriters to make money with SEO keyword articles?

Has anyone considered selling packages of ten or twenty keyword articles based around one keyword? A niche marketing starter set, so to speak?

I too have come across such job profiles and it's amazing how all this is being managed; both on the copywriter's side and the client's side. I can understand the client's point of view because even I would like to hire such a cheap writer provided the quality is not compromised. But I wonder how much of it is possible. I still haven't been able to figure out how programmers at websites like RentACoder.com can offer complete shopping cart solutions in $60. I think what is happening is they create a massive library of content and then simply mix and match to create articles with great speed.

Hi Jennifer.

You've already been given some excellent tips. To add something more I would suggest you feel enthusiastic about what you want to write about. Feel excited about your service or product. Think about the benefits. Feel like you have something very interesting to share with your readers/visitors.

Don't worry about the language initially. Write in monosyllables if that helps. Some also recommend speed writing. Let everything out. And when you feel you have said all you wanted to say, leave it for a while. At least you have something now.

Sometimes I use a note pad (pen and paper) to jot down my ideas using drawings and charts. It helps me organize my thoughts.

Hey everyone, my name's Jesse. I'm a college student and I'm passionate about becoming a good copywriter.

I recently finished my first attempt at writing a sales page for a business my dad is starting. We began advertising about a week ago, and traffic on our site has been good. But the actual response has been unacceptably low. Would you mind taking a look at my site and letting me know what I'm doing wrong? Any constructive criticism you can give would be much appreciated! The URL is http://www.proflear.com

Thanks...

Jesse

Hi Jesse.

Nice first attempt :-). But could you shorten the sentences please? You can start with something like:

Earn an Extra $200-$1,000 On Saturday Afternoons.

Do you want to earn some extra money?

No scams. No frauds. No ponzi schemes.

...something like that.

and try not to capitalize the first alphabet of every word.

All the best.
