I'm always interested in discovering new resources, so... What websites and free software do you find most helpful as a copywriter? To get things rolling, here are a few that I use regularly.
  • www.onelook.com - the ultimate web dictionary
  • WordWeb - freeware dictionary/thesaurus works as Word plug-in or independent program (older versions even work with Vista): http://wordweb.info/free/ or via download.com
  • www.clichesite.com - hey, they're cliches for a reason!

I find myself visiting these two quite a bit when writing copy:

1) Rhymezone

2) The visual thesaurus
