Shanki,

Here are three quick tips for writing a great sales letter.

1. Model (even copy) successful sales letters. There's a reason we call it "copywriting". laugh.gif

2. Write in a conversational tone, of course tailored to your audience. Most beginning copywriters are too "stuffy" in their writing and need to lighten up!

3. Long copy is ok if the your writing is interesting. It often takes long copy to say everything that needs to be said, cover objections, and build credibility.

Tips on writing a good salesletter:

- Study great copywriters and their works
- Research your target market and the product/service you're writing about CAREFULLY and extensively
- Write conversationally (as previously mentioned)
- Try to find successful salesletters on the same product/service you're writing about. This is easy to do: just Google the term and see what comes up in the top 10 and sponsored results
- Try to touch your reader on a personal level as this helps draw them to the sale
- Get into marketing: you WILL learn something new on a regular basis that can be applied to your salesletters
- Sign up to receive newsletters from great copywriters and marketing and advertising experts

Hope this helps. smile.gif
