It seems like everyone is talking about the importance of social bookmarking for driving traffic these days. The only problem is, I don't have a clear handle on the concept. If I had to explain it to someone, I would be in big trouble. Can someone explain it to me or maybe share a link that discusses the benefits and how-to's in understandable terms?

Thank you for the link. I skimmed it quickly and have saved it to read in depth later. There is a lot of good information there. I know I need to learn these concepts and incorporate them into my future work. On a personal level, I plan to start up several niche-type blogs next year, so knowing how to drive traffic is imperative. There is a lot to learn, but it will be worth the effort.

Just remember one thing. The money might not come quickly so do not make the one crucial mistake other would be webmasters have made. DO NOT GIVE UP:).
Once you found your money making method its just a matter of duplication.

The thing to remember about Social Bookmarking is that while it might not help you right away, it can have pretty good long term effects. I actually read that article that was linked a while back and was happy that someone said to the masses. Its important and everyone needs to know that.

The thing I like about social book marking, is it drives traffic to your site, although not as many as you are expecting. Another thing that I can add to those that they had already shared is that you can help other internet users who are searching for a certain topics.
