Hello everyone,

Well, yesterday I was made redundant, and I woke up this morning with a fiery determination to succeed! I've written copy (on and off) for clients on a part-time basis in the past, and have had positive feedback. I've now decided to go at this full-time.

Would any of you recommend specialising? Others have commented to me that you gain better credibility this way and quickly gain a reputation in the marketplace.

My other question is whether a specific qualification would be helpful. It was suggested to me recently, for example, that a marketing degree might be worth pursuing!

Looking forward to your feedback

Giles
