As a freelancer I write for several graphic design firms and would like to include the projects I've written for them in my online portfolio. My plan was to show projects in PDF form so prospects could read the copy. The problem I'm running into is that although the designers are happy to let me show their work, they are understandably reluctant to have their projects shown on a site that also includes their competitors' work. Also, I use these firms when I have clients who need design as well as copy, which makes me a competitor of sorts. (I told you it was complicated!). Any ideas on how to pull this off tactfully? Thanks for any advice you can give!

Hi Tatroc:
My suggestion is to put some kind of clause in your contract that requests use of the material you produce for clients in your own marketing materials. Just a thought. Chris |

That's a tough one.
I've tried to think of a great solution, but one hasn't come to me. I'll be interested to hear what you decide. -------------------- Richard Moldovanyi - Toronto SEO Web Content
