If you assumed someone knows absolutely zero about SEO and SEO writing, do you have three or four simple tips that would get someone started in the right (or at least "SEO-functioning") direction?

A few tips off the top of my head:
1. Position keyphrase prominently in the title of the page, preferably in the immediate beginnning. 2. Use keyphrase frequently throughout the body, especially within <h1> and <h2> header tags. 3. Make sure the site is easily navigated by spiders by using text links to link between pages. 4. Get sites with high rankings for your keyphrases to link to your site with a text link. A lot of seo has to do with figuring out the best keywords and keyphrase to focus on, which is different in any case. But basically, think of the words a person would use if they were looking for your page. |
