I have several blogs at blogger, the free blog platform. I know I can't do too much about the actual site code to increase its SEO effectiveness. I was wondering if anyone else uses them, and what type of internal SEO they do. Of course, I pay attention to the keywords in the blog posts I write, and always add alt tags to any pictures. Can anyone else give any tips?

I also blog at Blogger and have a lot of work to do in terms of building traffic to my site. I have found some good resources dealing with the topic but haven't had the time to read through them. Here is one article that has some good tips for building traffic to a Blogger site: http://blogbusinessworld.blogspot.com/2005...on-blogger.html

Hi!

This must surprise us but a lot of websites on independent hosting have a blog at blogger because they are indexed without any hitch. Besides, we still could submit blogspot blogs to web directories or have somebody link to it. I've already seen a lot of blogger blogs with PR4 or 5.

I do like you say blue. My blogger blogs are 'attached' to my websites. I just think they are easier and they do index well. I was mostly wondering if people fooled with the templates or made their own to include less blogger stuff and more personal SEO-specific stuff. I suppose there is only so much you can do internally.

Hiya Copy Heads.

I finally took the time to read the whole article. That's a lot of information.
I did see why I was unable to get my blogger blogs set with Technorati too.

It's amazing how little I know about the back end of bloging. Sheesh.
