Does anyone ever submit their clients articles to the article directories like ezinearticles.com?
I heard that doing this can bring some pretty good traffic and help with the search engine rankings.

I have never done this for a client, but I will be doing it for myself when I get my own website up and running. I still have much to learn on driving website and blog traffic, but article placement seems to be a tried and true method.

I can say for sure that submitting your article to article directories is a good SEO move for your articles. I have seen with results that it can drive traffic to your website. In fact it compelled me to create an article directory of my own.

http://www.articleassembly.com is my article directory. I am also a full time copy writer. In my site, I provide an Article CD for sale, which has over 1000 articles on 112 subjects. If anyone needs help in creating an article directory, please email me for assistance. I would be glad to help.

Yes, I'll be trying this myself when I get a minute!

I've heard it's a good organic SEO tactic.

Time will tell...

The best thing to do is to become member of various article sites and then submit your article to various sites for maximum effect. People who click your link after reading your article will be people who are interested in what you are offering. So submit your article to as many sites as you can.

Ezinearticles.com is the best article publishing site I have ever come across. It is a very systematic and organized site and has got a good page rank also. When you place your articles in this site, you are allowed to place two links to any one of your website which will bring traffic naturally.

yeah, you heard it absolutely right. Submitting articles on the article directories is a highly beneficial action to perform on SEO and Internet marketing. Such articles not only bring high volume of traffic to the concerned websites, but also help in riding the rank paradigm in the search engines. As you know, submitting articles on the free article directories is also helpful in getting good quality backlinks.

Yes, submitting articles to article directories gives you/your clients several strong benefits:
1. webwide exposure in your niche
2. backlink juice from authority sites (ezine articles has a very high rank with Google)
3. viral benefits, as directories (ezine articles) lets any publisher copy your work, but keep your name/link

If you'd like SEO copywriting services, I'd love to work with you!

The problem with many of the directories both mentioned, and on the web in general, is that they are not designed to help you the author. Their purpose in existing is to make the owner of the site money - which they do by bombarding your article with adsense adverts.

The effect of this is to negate any link value that your article may have produced back to your site. It also means any reader of your article is bombarded with other avenues of leaving the article other than any links you put in your article - ie lost sales/traffic for you.

There are far more effective methods of content syndication for you as an author or website promoter.

Since I am new I will not post links here, but if you are interested I can discuss the better options with you in a PM.

hi

This article directory list can be used to submit articles to promote your business and website. Or you can use it to find article resources for your own website, blog or ezine.
Find free article submission sites for articles to use on your own website or newsletter, whether it's related to internet marketing or any other topic as many sites feature a wide variety of article themes. And most of these directories will allow you to add your own articles to their database - with or without being required to register for free - which will promote your business to all their visitors and subscribers!

Thanks
